Berklee is hiring an Assistant Director of Residential and Housing Operations to help lead housing logistics, support student transitions, and ensure a smooth, inclusive residential experience. This full-time, on-campus role blends operations, student support, and system management in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
What You’ll Do:
Manage housing assignments and room selection for new, returning, and summer studentsCoordinate residence hall openings, closings, key distribution, and transitional housingSupervise student staff at front desks and ensure high-quality service for students and familiesServe as lead administrator for StarRez housing software and maintain housing data accuracySupport students with off-campus housing resources, roommate events, and 1:1 guidanceRespond to housing inquiries with care, clarity, and collaborationGenerate occupancy and billing reports; liaise with Student Accounts and campus partnersRepresent Housing on campus committees and step in as acting Associate Director when neededWho You Are:
A student-centered professional with strong organizational and interpersonal skillsExperienced in housing operations, student affairs, or residential lifeTech-savvy, especially with systems like StarRez or similar platformsSkilled at balancing process efficiency with personalized student supportA collaborative, inclusive leader who thrives in a creative, high-energy environmentWhy Berklee:
