Responsibilities will also include design, coordination and evaluation of curriculum,. Under the direction of the Dean, the Assistant Dean will actively participate in outstanding customer service and accept responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Manages the assigned associate degree program including the selection process for students, faculty and adjuncts, overseeing accreditation and other quality review activities. Representation of the programs at the departmental and institutional level, providing mentorship and leadership to students and faculty. Develops, designs, and delivers instruction in courses, participates in student advising and mentoring, and engages in the academic roles of teaching, service, scholarship, and research. Reviews and assists with revisions for program policies and procedures. Identifies and recommends appropriate community agency learning sites for clinical learning experiences. The Assistant Dean will provide leadership and management within the designated program under the direction of the Dean.
