Assistant Controller
Description We are looking for a highly skilled Hybrid Assistant Controller to oversee and manage the financial operations of our client's organization in Austin, Texas. This role requires expertise in accounting processes, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting to ensure the company's fiscal health and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting software systems and management to support accurate and timely decision-making. Responsibilities: • Manage comprehensive accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and revenue recognition. • Prepare and deliver accurate monthly financial statements within established timelines. • Oversee the coordination and submission of regulatory reports and annual budgets. • Develop, implement, and refine business processes and accounting policies to promote operational efficiency and accuracy. • Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulatory requirements. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of financial systems. • Conduct audits to maintain accuracy and integrity in financial records. • Monitor and analyze financial performance to provide actionable insights and recommendations. • Lead efforts to enhance reporting capabilities using tools like Crystal Reports and CRM systems. • Support organizational goals by leveraging expertise in accounting software and financial services. Requirements • Proven experience in financial reporting, accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger. • Familiarity with CRM platforms and financial reporting tools. • Strong understanding of auditing processes and regulatory compliance. • Demonstrated ability to manage budget preparation and monitoring. • Expertise in developing and documenting accounting policies and procedures. • Solid knowledge of ADP financial services and related systems. • Excellent analytical and organizational skills to support strategic decision-making.
