Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic assistant controller to join our team. This position will report to the Financial Controller and will take part in many aspects of the financial closing and reporting processes, interact with finance teams around the world.

Key responsibilities:

* Take a significant part in the period closing process according to the US GAAP

* Preparation of the Company’s annual financial statements *

* Preparation of the annual tax return and assist with global and local tax matters

* Oversees company’s Trial Balance and General Ledger (GL)Working with the Company’s external auditors on audit, accounting, and other economic matters

* Responsibility for the Company’s subsidiaries financials and IC transactions.

* Oversees and maintain the Fixed asset process

* Ad-Hoc projects as well as automation projects and processes improvement

* Compliance with the local law and taxes

Qualifications

Required:

* Bachelor’s degree in accounting

* CPA and a Big 4 alumnus

* Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (high-tech/public company)

* Communicates (speaking and writing) very well in English 

Preferred:

* 1 position after an internship with a Hi-Tech company

* Strong accounting fundamentals knowledge in US GAAP

* Excellent Excel proficiency

* Experience with ERP (SAP & Oracle) 

* Comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment and meeting multiple deadlines

* Has superb interpersonal and verbal skills

* Problem solver with a can-do attitude and team player

* Independent, detail-oriented, and a great multitasker

* Willingness to commit to the job and for long hours when needed
