Assistant Construction Manager **Sedona Staffing Services** 0 Positions ID: 45713799 Posted On 04/30/2025 Refreshed On 07/01/2025 **Job Overview** **Assistant Construction Manager** **Based out of NE Iowa** **Traveling up to 75% across the United States** **Compensation: $80k - $90k / year + full benefits package** A local NE Iowa company is looking to grow and add an Assistant Construction Managers to their team. This individual is responsible for working with the construction crews, subcontractors and customers to ensure the installation of buildings on site meet deadlines and ensure a smooth project completion. The best fit candidates will work directly with the Manager and Lead Project Manager on a project by project basis, be open to traveling 75% across the United States and project worksites, and make safety a priority in every scenario at each project. **What you get to do:** + Work with customers on pre-construction plans and site preparedness + Schedule the project and budget on time required to meet deadline. + Determine labor requirements and dispatch workers to construction sites + Coordinate and expedite material deliveries + Inspect and review projects to ensure compliance with building safety codes and other regulations. + Maintain inventory and quality of building construction + Ensure smooth project completion + Resolve post construction issues **What we need from you:** + Bachelor’s Degree in Building or Construction Management or related field (preferred); or a combination of education, training and experience. + Construction experience (preferred). + Strong interpersonal and customer service skills + Knowledge of construction and building codes + Knowledge of construction practices and safety/OSHA procedures + Must be able to travel frequently and hold a valid driver’s license + Strong MS Office skills + Ability to read blueprints and design drawings + Experience or certification in operating auxiliary equipment (forklifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts, man lifts etc.) + Must be able to operate a wide variety of power and hand tools **Interested in learning more?** Submit a copy of your professional resume to: **Amanda@careerpros.com** Sedona Staffing Services is an equal opportunity employer.
