Major Responsibilities:

Assist PCC leadership with day to day operation to ensure high quality and cost effective patient care

   

Practices the principles of Performance Improvement in order to contribute to positive patient outcomes

    

Participates with PCC leadership to provide positive work environment for staff in terms of growth and development and job satisfaction

   

Responsible for personal/professional growth and development

    
Licensure:

Nurse, Registered (RN)

Education/Experience Required:

Bachelors degree in nursing required5 years experience in emergency medicine.ED specific leadership experience – coordinator, charge RN, committee involvement in an ED setting

Certifications (preferred but have within first year)

Trauma Certified Registered Nurse (TCRN)TNS – Trauma nurse specialist (preferred but expect to obtain within first year)ECRN – Emergency Communication Radio NurseCEN – Certified Emergency Nurse

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

Ability to assume charge/schedule coordinator role Ability to communicate effectively and work cohesively with a diverse work group • Skills specific to each units specialtyCPR Illinois Licensed Professional Registered Nurse Certification relative to specialty area. Obtain and/or maintain PALS
