As anAssistant Clerk: + You will interact with the appellate judges and the attorneys of the court. + You will process filings in both appeals and writ applications. + You will be trained in legal appellate processes and procedures. + You will be called on to answer questions from attorneys throughout the state and the general public. If you have prior experience in a clerk’s office, as a paralegal, or are looking to get your start in the legal field, this is a multi-skilled entry-level opportunity for you. On a daily basis, the pace of the work will push you to hone your triage skills and test your computer, data entry, scanning, and organizing skills. The starting salary range is $36,157-$44,649, or commensurate with experience.
