This pre\-opening journey offers a rare opportunity to join an iconic property from the ground up, helping to shape its service culture, technical readiness, and operational excellence\. **What will I be doing?** As **Assistant Chief Engineer** , you will support the Director of Engineering in leading the Engineering & Maintenance function of the hotel, ensuring the property operates at the highest standards of safety, sustainability, and efficiency\. You will be instrumental in the pre\-opening phase, establishing processes, setting up technical systems, and preparing the team for a successful launch\. Your key responsibilities include: + Assisting in managing all engineering operations, including maintenance, repairs, fire & life safety, sustainability, and energy conservation\. + Supporting the Chief Engineer in the planning and execution of pre\-opening tasks, handover from contractors, and operational readiness\. + Supervising and developing a skilled team of engineers and technicians, ensuring training and motivation in line with Hilton and LXR luxury standards\. + Coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure uninterrupted guest experiences\. + Monitoring energy and sustainability programs, ensuring compliance with Hilton’s LightStay and local regulatory requirements\. + Supporting budget planning, cost control, and contractor management for technical services\. **What are we looking for?** An Assistant Chief Engineer serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members\.
