The Electric Drive Systems Assistant Chief Engineer (ACE) shall lead or champion the technical design and development activities for Electric Drive System components and sub-systems within an electrified or hybrid propulsion system for Stellantis Heavy Duty Truck programs. Scope of work for the ACE includes, but is not limited to, working with a cross functional team to understand customer requirements, confirm/achieve base powertrain adaptation/packaging, and achieve key functional objectives for performance, NVH, efficiency, durability, quality, and cost. The ACE is also responsible for component and vehicle launch issue resolution during all stages of the development process as well as for quality/warranty improvement efforts post vehicle launch. The ACE will report to the Electric Drive Systems Chief Engineer - Heavy Duty Truck Programs.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a closely related Engineering discipline 8 or more years of engineering experience in progressively more responsible roles 3 or more years of experience in direct supervision or cross functional team leadership Strong understanding of eMotor, Power Inverter, Transmission, Engine and Driveline components and interface requirements Understanding of electronic controls and calibration development processes Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presenting complex material to various audiences Strong leadership and problem-solving skills with a bias for action and issue resolution Ability to work under pressure and in a time constrained environmentPreferred Qualifications:
