Job DescriptionJob Summary:
The applicant appears knowledgeable in key areas relevant to our property, including inboard engine boats, power generation with multiple generators and powerhouses, step-up and step-down transformer systems, RO and STP plant operations, as well as engineering requirements for guest accommodations—particularly overwater villas—and various F&B outlets.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise all engineering operations, ensuring reliable performance of mechanical, electrical, marine, and civil infrastructure.Plan, implement, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for all assets and facilities.Manage power generation and distribution, ensuring uninterrupted operations and energy efficiency.Coordinate all marine operations, ensuring seaworthiness and maintenance of the boat fleet.Develop and manage engineering projects including renovations, upgrades, and capital improvements.Prepare and present technical evaluations, project proposals, and cost-benefit analyses.Draft and review scopes of work (SOWs) for contractors, suppliers, and internal tasks.Monitor energy consumption, implement energy-saving initiatives, and optimize utility usage.Ensure compliance with local regulations, QCDD, QGOSM, QP, MOI, and environmental standards.Utilize AutoCAD and technical drawings for infrastructure planning, layouts, and modifications.Supervise and mentor engineering team members, promoting a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.Maintain records and reporting systems, including CMMS and energy dashboards.Collaborate with procurement, finance, and external consultants/vendors to ensure timely project execution.QualificationsQualifications & Experience:
Well experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and Marine EngineeringMinimum 5 years of engineering experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role in the hospitality, resort, which has marine sector.Proven expertise in managing multi-utility systems, power plants, transformer systems, RO/STP operations, and marine assets.Strong project management skills with experience in handling large-scale CAPEX, OPEX, projectKnowledge of energy management systems and sustainability practices.Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and engineering documentation.Excellent presentation and communication skills.Strong command of technical evaluations, RFQ preparation, and SOW preparation.Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities, and lead cross-functional teams.
