Reporting Structure

 

The Assistant Buyer reports directly to the Director of Buying.

 


What You’ll Be Responsible For:

 

Responsible for supporting all aspects of Buying process across all categories for Vince Full Price Retail Stores and Ecommerce. Support and accountability for all product buys.Execute weekly selling reporting, seasonal hindsight reporting and ad-hoc reporting as needed.Assist Buyers in pre-market analysis and preparation, in-market analysis and buy upkeep and post-market order entry and order upkeep.Partner with Digital Experience Team to ensure product onsite is accurately represented.Upload and communicate markdowns, in stores and online.Support Buying Team on all needs during market (market notes, samples, order entry, etc.).Manage all Purchase Order entry and updates, style upload entry, generalized system entry.Coordinate and manage samples with licensed and 3rd party vendors as needed.Track receipts for inbound PO’s and the Ecommerce website.Assist with vendor onboarding and style set up for all licensed goods.

Qualifications/Experience We’re Looking For:

 

0-2 years of retail buying experience.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong computer skills including proficiency with Excel and all relevant functions.Proficiency with Retail math. Ability to readily work with data, extract results, and communicate findings.Exhibits high standards and accountability; takes pride in accuracy.Result-oriented and self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency.Able to independently organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
