Assistant Building Systems Supervisor Location: West Point, NY, United StatesDate Posted: Jul 7, 2025 Share: share to e-mail Apply Now Save JobSaved Description Location: West Point, NY Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm Rate: $27.00/hr OVERVIEW OF PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES : + Insure timely fulfillment of maintenance requests. + Supervise maintenance techs. + Coordinates projects with various stakeholders. + Enforces Health and Safety protocols and practices. + Maintain preventative maintenance records & report weekly. + Recruitment, hiring and corrective actions when needed. + Vendor negotiation and solicitation for bids for projects. + Assist with snow removal and landscape for internal and contract sites when needed. + Reports to Building Systems Supervisor. QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES : + Excellent communication skills. + Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems including plumbing, electrical, structural, HVAC and Control systems. + Supervisory experience. + Experience with centrifugal driven water chiller is a plus. + Experience working with voltages greater than 120vac EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE : + 10+ years of building systems maintenance experience. + Extensive knowledge of all trades related to facilities and grounds maintenance. + Previous experience working on a military base is a plus. + Competent computer skills.
