What we want
The Assistant Athletic Equipment Manager is responsible for assisting the Assistant Athletics Director for Equipment and Apparel with the management of a major Division I athletic department's Olympic

Salary: W ill be commensurate based on th e selected hire’s education and experience.

Travel: Travel required with assigned sport.
Schedule: Nights, weekends and holidays as required to complete assigned duties.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Some athletic equipment managing experience
Required Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
+ Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
Preferred Qualifications
+ 1 year collegiate or professional team equipment management.
+ AEMA Certified preferred.
Responsibilities
Inventory
+ Inventory control and ACS management for all sports.
+ Assist directly with inventory management for Olympic Sports at the direction of the Head Coach or designee.
+ Assist with apparel/footwear storage and Issue for all Olympic Sports.
+ Assist Athletic Equipment Manager with placing orders through the Athletic Business Office and direct to manufactures for Olympic Sports.
Apparel/Uniforms
+ Assist directly with apparel issue for Olympic Sports at the direction of the Head Coach or designee (no travel or practice/meet responsibilities).
+ Assist with apparel/footwear storage and Issue for all Olympic Sports.
Supervises
+ Assist in supervision of student workers.
Away Game Preparation
+ Pack for Olympic Sport Road trips with the assistance of student managers.
Compliance
+ Maintains continual and thorough familiarity with all applicable NCAA, Conference and University rules and regulations. Establishes and ensures communication and enforcement of rules and regulations for all staff members and student workers supervised.
