4 Year Degree The Assistant Athletic Director of Compliance will play a critical role in ensuring adherence to all NCAA, conference, and institutional rules and regulations within the athletic department. This position requires a deep understanding of compliance issues and a commitment to upholding the integrity of the athletic program. Responsibilities include overseeing the implementation of compliance policies, educating staff, coaches, and student-athletes on rules and regulations, monitoring recruiting activities, and conducting investigations on potential violations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret and apply complex regulations effectively. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building positive relationships and promoting a culture of compliance within the department.Principal Duties and Responsibilities FUNCTIONS
Ensures that all Athletics and university-related activities associated with the department operate in full compliance with university, conference, and national rules and regulations. Responsible for developing and conducting training and education programs for the university staff and student-athletes regarding compliance with the NCAA and the University rules and regulations.
Serve as the primary liaison between the Athletics Department and other constituencies with compliance responsibilities, Registrar, Admissions, and Financial Aid. Coordinate the processes for certification of initial, transfer, and continuing eligibility and financial aid.
Responsible for administering and monitoring all systems designed to ensure compliance with University rules and regulations (including but not limited to self-reporting, violation protocol, etc).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE)
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sports Management, Physical Education, or a related field. Two to three years of experience. Must have NCAA experience. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field (Sports Management, Compliance, Law, etc.) Experience in athletics compliance at the collegiate level Thorough knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Ability to train staff on pertinent information
