Assistant Area Manager
Description Position at SBM Management

SBM Management is searching for a dynamic Assistant Area Manager! The Assistant Area Manager will be responsible for managing company programs and area staff to ensure compliance with contract duties between company and customer.

ResponsibilitiesAssist with overall safety programs for each site within area of responsibilityImplement/standardize employee safety, attendance, and recognition programs for all sitesManage and provide direction in preparation of forecast and budgetsProvide recommendations on budget modifications to local management and or Corporate FinanceAssist with maintaining one on one relationship with key customer contacts at each siteConsolidate and provide weekly site reports to Regional ManagerComplete scheduled and unscheduled site audits with staff and key customer contactsSchedule and manage QBR calendar for responsible areaDevelop plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and employeesReview and provide training, direction on employee communication, InSite, supplies and equipment purchasesResponsible for the day-to-day operational activities for a specified area Inspect all assigned accounts and visit customers as frequently as possible Assist supervisors to ensure performance to customer and SBM specifications are met Some travel will be required for this position QualificationsStrong leadership skillsSelf-efficacy skillsPlan execution skillsPersuasive and effective communication skillsAbility to work under pressureConfidence, drive, and enthusiasmDecision-making ability and a sense of responsibilityPlanning and organizational skillsComputer skills and commercial acumenMay be required to have a valid driver’s license. Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, or a related field from a four-year college or university with 2-5 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation: $80,000-90,000 per year
