Assistant Actuarial Manager

Job Responsibilities

Prepare financial reporting and technical analysis under HKRBC basis Prepare financial projections and Stressed Scenario Testing for ORSA reporting Support the company's solvency monitoring under the HKRBC framework Support initiatives to optimize capital deployment under HKRBC basis and perform sensitivity/ scenario testing for management decisions Assist with the participating fund management and the calculation of surplus distribution  Prepare the analysis of ALM strategies for insurance and surplus funds  Support the regulatory filing and other HKRBC-related submissions to fulfill HKRBC Pillar 3 requirement Enhance and streamline the HKRBC valuation models and workflows Supervise junior team members to meet deadlines and quality standards Participate in cross-departmental or ad-hoc projects

Job Requirements

Bachelor degree in Actuarial Science or related discipline At least 3+ years of experience in life insurance industry Strong actuarial knowledge and experience in valuation Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Knowledge and first-hand experience in HKRBC/ ALM/ PAR fund management is a plus Strong technical/ modeling skills; knowledge or experience in Microsoft Access, VBA, Prophet, ALS modelling would be an advantage Strong communication skills  Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese
