About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our finance Order to Cash (OTC) team as a Billing Specialist. You will prepare invoices, reconciling accounts, resolving billing discrepancies, and maintaining financial records. You have strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and problem-solving.

 

Key responsibilities

Working in Enterprise Finance Services (EFS) who sit within the wider finance team and will be reporting into the Finance Manager.

Key responsibilities of the role:

· Prepare and issue accurate invoices to clients following contractual terms

· Track billing schedules and ensure submission of invoices

· Help reconcile billing accounts and resolving discrepancies

· Maintain up-to-date records of billing transactions and client communication

· Collaborate with internal departments to gather necessary billing information

· Respond to client inquiries regarding invoices and payment

· Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes

· Help generate financial reports related to billing and revenue

· Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations

· Contribute to process improvements programs within the billing function

 

What you'll need to have

You will need the following:

Work to deadlines

Previous experience in a billing or finance support role

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software (e.g., SAP, SAGE).

Strong numerical and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

A minimum of a foundation level qualification in finance

Knowledge of VAT, tax regulations, and financial compliance standards.
