**About The Role**
This role sits within the Global Workplace Solutions (“GWS”) segment of CBRE, responsible for overseas Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation (BSAR) in Cadency & Art Tools and involved in Accounting Projects within the organization.
**What You'll Do**
+ Leading a team of 3+FTEs.
+ Build and manage a high performing team by providing leadership and career developments.
+ Manage stakeholder expectations by liaising with management from the Business & country/divisional finance directors.
+ Lead/Coordinate process optimisation, process improvements and standardisation initiatives and implement operational excellence practices and strategies.
+ Accountable for ensuring that SOX compliance is adhered to and SOX controls are passed.
+ Leading / Co-leading project activities with respective departments’ representatives.
+ End-to-end support for internal stakeholders who are just beginning or are in the early stages of a major process and system implementation effort.
+ Lead or Support Project Management included but not limited to below activities:
+ Defining the scope of the project,
+ Managing project resources.
+ Monitoring project status and track progress.
+ Assessing and mitigating risks.
+ Leading Quality Assurance.
+ Conducting project meeting and provide updates to stakeholders.
+ Lead or Support Change Management for below activities:
+ Partner with stakeholders to address challenges and make recommendations.
+ Proactive communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
+ Manage and coordinate change and communication activities
+ Documenting of business requirements, controls, processes, and procedures.
+ Ensure the BSAR platform processes and operating activities are robust.
+ Ensure all period-end jobs are performed on a timely basis and delivery of service levels is in line with defined SLA / KPI targets.
+ Support and provide information for stakeholder.
+ Maintain the good relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
+ Coordinate in maintaining, amending and communication of BSO finance policies and procedures.
+ Support the implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of effective internal control and processes including SOX.
+ Proactively drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function.
+ Responsible for hiring, annual performance review, coaching and career development for the team.
+ Engage and motivate employees, by providing growth opportunities and creating a transparent and healthy working environment.
+ To undertake other ad-hoc assignments as may be required from time to time by the management.
**What You'll Need**
+ Degree in Accounting / professional qualifications is mandatory (CA, CPA, ACCA).
+ 8 years’ experience in accounting and finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role overseeing a finance team.
+ Experience of working in a Captive SSC / Business Process Outsourcing Organisations/audit background will be desired.
+ Proficient in English including Oral and Business Writing.
+ Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, guide, and motivate team members.
+ Experience in managing stakeholder expectation with good influencing & negotiating skills.
+ Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
+ Good communication skills; ability to clearly articulate expectations and outcomes with various levels of management, both in Finance and Business.
+ Ability to adapt to change and implement process improvements effectively.
+ Possess knowledge of accounting principles and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) / US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (USGAAP) Accounting.
+ Possess knowledge of operation of control frameworks such as SOX.
+ Strong understanding of Finance systems & technical integrations (experience with Peoplesoft, JD Edwards, Coupa, and Trintech would be an advantage).

**EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE**
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; a CPA and/or MBA may be required OR equivalent combination of education and experience. 7+ years experience in public and/or private accounting, including 3+ years experience in progressively responsible supervisory/management positions
**CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES**
CPA preferred.

Ability to present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees.
**FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE**
Broad, in-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Financial Accounting Standards (FASB), theories, & practices. Demonstrated experience & knowledge of financial issues & economic impact beyond technical knowledge. Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate advanced figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications. Advanced understanding of accounting and bookkeeping concepts. Able to assist with budget and forecast preparation. Administers accounting practices to ensure optimum client satisfaction while guaranteeing CBRE financial interests are protected.

**OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES**
Advanced skills in Microsoft suite applications and real estate or other financial accounting software. Thorough knowledge of computer applications related to real estate accounting or financial management systems.
