WXLV is looking for our next assignment editor who has a passion for news and for elevating our digital platforms. The Assignment Editor plays a central role in the newsroom, coordinating daily news coverage. 

Job Duties:

Monitor news wires, social media, scanner traffic, and viewer tips to identify potential stories.  Working closely with producers, reporters, and photographers, they assign and prioritize coverage, ensuring the newsroom responds quickly to breaking news Covers stories that matter to the community
