In Private Wealth Management, we help our clients pursue their wealth management goals through careful advice & astute investment management. PWM Engineering plays a pivotal role in building the tools and applications our business needs to effectively manage and support our client’s diverse requirements. We support the entire user experience starting with onboarding through to trading, reporting, as well as providing clients access to their portfolios online via native iOS and Android apps. We also build and support numerous applications for our Business and Operations users to help them effectively manage risk and provide the best white-glove service possible to our clients.
Controls Engineering is responsible for building the next generation firm-wide control plane for use in Asset & Wealth Management. The successful candidate will use their deep technical skills to build solutions to manage and implement risk management controls tailored to the diverse products and services offered to AWM clients. The role involves building out web applications that allow users to register, develop and administer controls on the platform.
Your Impact
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field 3+ years of experience in software development and engineering Working knowledge of Java & React Solid understanding of software engineering principles, algorithms, and data structures Experience in developing large-scale, highly available, and distributed systems Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and web services Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and collaboration skills Experience with Agile software development methodologies Experience formulating clear and concise written and verbal descriptions of Software and Systems and tracking and managing delivery of the same
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Big data/Apache Spark/Apache Nifi.Experience in the financial services industry.
