HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
Strategic Partnership: Serve as a central point of contact, ensuring consistent messaging and streamlined information flow for the business, Wealth Management, divisional, and firmwide leadership teams. Partner with senior leadership and key stakeholders, to provide objective insights, acting as a trusted advisor. Cross-Functional Initiative Management: Lead and manage cross-functional efforts on a variety of strategic initiatives and special projects. This includes location strategy (e.g., seating expansion and office buildouts), people strategy (e.g., compensation process, headcount planning and organizational design), and conduct management (e.g., adherence to employee policies and training completion).Talent Management: Partner with Human Capital Management on talent management related initiatives, including recruiting and other year-end processes such as promotion criteria development, promotion process management, and performance evaluation. Manage headcount requirements / budgets in partnership with engineering, product, and Marcus leadership, ensuring alignment with the business objectives.Monitoring & Tracking: Montor, track, and report progress on KPIs, presenting actionable findings and strategic recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders, driving continuous improvement.Internal & External Communications: Enhancing brand visibility and employee engagement. Lead Marcus’s internal and external communication strategy, including orchestrating impactful town halls, newsletters, and media engagement.Reporting & Insights: Oversee and prepare regular reports and key presentations to the GS Bank USA and GS Group board of directors, and senior management. Provide data-driven insights on strategic initiatives, operational performance, key metrics, and risk exposure.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.Proven track record of senior leadership experience in a COO / Chief of Staff role within the financial services industry, preferably within a wealth management firm.Strong understanding of banking / deposit operations, compliance, risk management, and regulatory requirements.Strategic thinker with demonstrated ability to develop and execute business plans, drive organizational change, and deliver results in a dynamic and competitive market environment.Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams and cultivate positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and metrics to inform decision-making, drive process improvements, and measure performance against strategic objectives.Commitment to integrity, ethics, and professionalism, with a passion for delivering superior client experiences and creating long-term value for shareholders.
