Asset Planner
Job Title: Asset Planner Summary:The Asset Planner position is accountable for demand planning, raw materials and packaging materials management, inventory management, tolling and production scheduling within supply chain. The role will utilize best practices, procedures and tools to optimize service, inventory and costs per business needs. This position will report directly to SEA SIOP Leader, based in Rayong Plant. Responsibilities Include: Asset Planning + attend production meetings, address daily and short term scheduling issues + schedule in accordance with inventory targets, internal service requirements and operational limitations + review and schedule for a production planning, materials planning and capacity planning base on demand / requirement + provide planning including raw material requirements based on agreed schedule with the operation + convert production plan into a process order and provide to the operation + convert materials plan into PR/PO to the suppliers and Toller company + Coordination and follow-up all key materials incoming according to the plan + plan materials transfers, cross-pole and inter-plants requirements + control exception messages to continuously improve schedule + confirm available to promise by reflect into the system + co-worked with product to measure a schedule attainment and + co-worked with operation to optimize a production schedule minimize / improve efficiency Inventory Planning + execute excess inventory and out-of-spec inventory reduction, contribute to meet inventory targets + control key raw materials and packing inventory + Collaborative for annual physical inventory + propose updated safety stock requirements based on demand, supply and capacity #LI-PP1 Qualifications: The following are required for the role + Bachelor’s degree in supply chain related fields or equivalent combination of education and experience + Have excellent verbal and written communication skills, fluent in English + Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems + Safety & Quality mindset + Minimum 4 years’ relevant experience in production planning, inventory management or similar positions. + Have knowledge in Sales & Operations Planning, Material Requirements Planning and scheduling. + Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, international, multicultural team environment + Have excellent verbal and written communication skills, fluent in English + Possess Momentive core values and competencies of strategic focus/direction, trust/teamwork, personal leadership and achieve business results + Demonstrate strong organization skills, committed with passion, detail-oriented with continuous improvement and customer mindset + Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP or another ERP system + Strong organization, team-work and problem-solving skills + Comfortable Working under pressure, Understanding of Technical and Legal Matters What We Offer: At Momentive, we value your well-being and offer competitive total rewards and development programs.
