The United States Border Patrol (USBP) is the mobile, uniformed law enforcement aims of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) responsible for securing U.S. borders between ports of entry. The Unmanned Technologies Operations Center (UTOC) depends on the expertise of highly qualified subject matter experts to deliver critical support in logistics and warehouse operations. These professionals are expected to function as an integrated, cohesive team, leveraging their individual skills and expertise to complement one another. Their collaborative efforts are essential in providing valuable assistance to the government, ensuring the successful achievement of the UTOC's mission objectives. The collective contributions of these experts are essential for the effective execution of the UTOC's wide-ranging responsibilities. The candidates are responsible for maintaining the necessary technical, supervisory, and administrative personnel in accordance with the delivery schedule. Responsible for providing logistics and warehouse support services, including:
+ Warehouse logistics operations,
+ Property management
+ Asset management,
+ Deployment and sustainment support.
+ The scope of these services will vary depending on the complexity of the project.
**Responsibilities**
**Processing of Excess Assets**
+ Responsible for providing guidance and establishing standardized procedures to facilitate the accurate reporting and proper disposition of assets. This includes assets to be transferred within CBP, sold through GSA, donated, destroyed, or abandoned. These procedures will ensure consistency, compliance with regulatory requirements, and efficient management of asset-related transactions.
+ These duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, initiating and completing SF120 actions on assets designated for excess through GSA, donation, destruction, or abandonment. This includes reviewing excess packages for accuracy and completeness, routing these packages through management for review and approval, and providing guidance for obtaining excess property from GSA.
+ Acquire excess property from GSA, support annual and semi- annual supply inventories, process and track incoming and outgoing FedEx/UPS shipments, coordinate the shipping and receiving of supplies, equipment, and materials, research and determine projected supply requirements for the UTOC, maintain warehouse files, regulations, policies, and reference materials, and oversee and support forklift drivers and associated material handling equipment.
**Asset Management Support.**
+ Delivering comprehensive asset management support services, encompassing accountability across all phases of the asset lifecycle, including acquisition, maintenance, and disposition. This responsibility involves overseeing the receipt of package deliveries and performing detailed inspections to confirm the completeness of the delivered items.
+ Preparing assets for deployment in accordance with the directives provided by Program Managers. This includes ensuring that all necessary deployment information and documentation is accurately compiled and promptly delivered to the Asset Manager.
+ Overseeing and reviewing monthly property control reports to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data related to asset management. This responsibility includes verifying that all asset information is up-to-date and correctly recorded.
+ Conduct comprehensive annual physical inventories as well as semi-annual critical asset inventories, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of asset records across all phases of the asset lifecycle.
+ Monitoring and updating the status of assets, identifying and rectifying incomplete asset records, and facilitating the transfer of assets to and from designated sectors or stations. In addition to these duties, the contractor will coordinate asset transactions with these sectors or stations, ensuring that all operations are conducted seamlessly and in full compliance with established procedures.
+ Assist as needed with supporting the logistics and warehouse operations and Property Management Support.
+ Assist as needed with overseeing and managing deployment and sustainment activities, ensuring that all tasks are carried out in accordance with established requirements, industry standards, and programmatic objectives. This includes comprehensive planning, execution, and monitoring of system deployments, civil buildouts, and sustainment operations.
**Additional duties may include the following.**
+ Escort Duties, Cargo Security, Inventory and Disposition, Forklift Support and Vehicle Transportation.
+ Flexible Work Schedule. The contractor must be available to work occasional weekends as needed to fulfill mission requirements, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to program objectives.
