As an Operations Associate within our Asia Pacific ETF Middle Office team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the growth of our ETF business in the region. You will be instrumental in establishing our Asia Pacific ETF operations platform in partnership with external vendors and internal teams both regionally and globally. You'll support the launch of our J.P. Morgan Asia Pacific ETF Funds and be responsible for building out the operating model, while providing "follow the sun" support for our Europe-Middle-East-Asia and United States operations to ensure global operational continuity.
Job responsibilities:
Lead the establishment of the Asia Pacific ETF operations platform, collaborating with service vendors and internal partners to ensure successful implementationEngage with stakeholders to capture and refine business requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic objectivesCollaborate with Technology and Operations teams, and vendors to design innovative technology solutions that meet business needs and comply with local ETF regulationsPartner with cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones and deliverablesDevelop comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, use cases, process flows, and functional specificationsEnsure precise and timely processing of ETF trade transactions and related activitiesOversee the publication of the Portfolio Composition File (PCF) to ensure accurate and timely dissemination to relevant stakeholdersConduct thorough checks of valuation files to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal and external standardsManage the Transaction Cost Pass Through process, ensuring accurate calculation and allocation of costs and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to drive operational efficiency and maintain complianceChampion ongoing process improvements and technology enhancementsMonitor and control daily operations to ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory standardsRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on business administrationAsia Pacific ETF experience is essentialExceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilitiesProven ability to build and maintain relationships across functions and geographies Highly adaptable, with a proactive approach to embracing challenges and changeProficient communication skills in both English and MandarinPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Bachelor's Degree or higher preferredExperience in middle office/trade support operations is advantageous
