The Asset Management Accountant will assist headquarters and subsidiary businesses by managing asset transactions, including additions, adjustments, transfers, retirements, and system audits, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of accounting records. This role is critical to onboarding new acquisitions.
Contract Duration: 6 months
**Required Skills & Experience**
+ Bachelor degree in Accounting
+ 3 – 5 years accounting experience
+ Fixed Asset Experience
+ SAGE Experience
+ Extensive knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures as relates to general ledger accounting
+ PeopleSoft GL experience preferred
+ Strong analytical skills
+ Problem solving abilities
+ Detail oriented
+ Self-starter
+ Excellent computer skills, especially with Excel
+ Excellent oral/written communication skills
+ Strong work ethic
+ Team player
+ Ability to travel locally, regionally and nationally as required.

Daily Responsibilities : updating the SAGE platform, addressing compliance requirements, improving process efficiency, reducing errors, and ensuring timely completion of asset management tasks.
