Job Title: Asset Health Engineer (Electrical Engineering)
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Asset Health Engineer to join our team. This role involves fieldwork in the Metro Detroit area and the 'thumb' region of Michigan for 2-3 days a week. You will be responsible for collecting data for asset health and reliability projects, particularly in the power distribution sector. Office work is based in Taylor, MI for 1-2 days a week, with the potential for 1 day of remote work.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct asset health and reliability projects, including studying outage maps, circuits, and one-line diagrams.
+ Compare field findings with existing data to propose solutions for power distribution or confirm mapping accuracy.
+ Utilize tools such as Cyme and perform Reliability Studies.
+ Manage a flexible work schedule with field days starting at 7am, potentially lasting up to 10 hours, while maintaining a balanced 40-hour workweek from Monday to Friday.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
+ Proficiency in Cyme and Reliability Studies
+ Experience with power distribution and reliability analysis software
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in the Utility Energy sector is preferred
+ Located in Southeastern Michigan with the ability to work in the field 2-3 days a week
Work Environment
This position offers a dynamic work environment with a combination of fieldwork and office work. Fieldwork is conducted in Metro Detroit and the 'thumb' area of Michigan, while office work is based in Taylor, MI. The role supports a flexible schedule with the opportunity to work from home one day a week. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
