Asset Allocation Strategist

To further enhance the investment capabilities and support growth in Discretionary Mandates and Advisory businesses, the team is seeking to add an individual who will help drive investment and portfolio strategy research. The position will complement existing macroeconomic, financial market, and asset allocation research that collectively informs tactical and strategic investment recommendations and portfolio implementation guidance. The person should be able to excel in a fast paced environment, contributing to the entire investment process.
Responsibilities
• Conduct research to formulate tactical investment views across major asset classes (equities, credit, bonds, and commodities) and thematic topics.
• Recommend implementation strategies for cross-asset investment views into multi-asset portfolios, focused on long-only funds and overlay strategies.
• Monitor tactical investment performance across the full range of strategies, recommending adjustments based on performance reviews and attribution analysis.
• Contribute to the development of Capital Market Assumptions (CMAs) and Strategic Asset Allocations (SAAs) by analyzing long-term economic and market trends, and their multi-asset portfolio implications.
• Collaborate with Global Investment Management in GWM on the development and marketing of CIO-aligned House View solutions.
• Present research findings within CIO and to a wide array of stakeholders in GWM, and contribute to the creation of research publications.

• New York: the salary range for this role is $157000 to $205000
The expected salary range(s) for this role as of the date of this posting is/are based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level.
