As a Assembly Team Lead, You Will:
Work with management, engineers, and team to plan and organize the department’s operations, assignments, standard operating practices, and procedures in a safe and efficient manner. Lead and instruct team in day-to-day activities. Support staff with troubleshooting and problem-solving. Generate and review reports. Coordinate training of team members. Jump in to assist in assembling products if the team hits a roadblock. Test products via high voltage system while following all local, state, federal, and Emerson safety policies. Perform necessary housekeeping duties to maintain clean work environment Meet department quality, attendance, and productivity requirements Other duties as assigned For This Role, You Will Need: One year of warehouse/manufacturing experience Prior leadership responsibilities Working knowledge of JDE or Oracle based ERP system The ability to understand/communicate quality requirements and coordinate operations to ensure goals are met Handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously Communicate effectively and work in a fair and cooperative manner to support a team environment Learn how to use a PC and appropriate software needed to perform job Instruct and direct a small group of employees performing simple but diversified work Performs varied tasks requiring independent knowledge, its application to a variety of situations, as well as exercise of independent judgment in addition to procedures and instructions provided.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:
