As a **Logistics Associate** , you will be assisting in the production of medium diesel engines that power the world. To learn more about our Griffin facility and to ensure Caterpillar is the right fit for your employment needs, please watch this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YH9\_e3CTw3U) ! **What you could do:** + Operate forklifts, tuggers, and other power equipment to move materials within the facility + Deliver, pick, move, and remove materials accurately and efficiently + Load and off-load materials on trailers + Check, tag, and repack various material + Maintain records and adhere to production goals + Follow standard operating procedures and area-specific work instructions + Report to Production Managers and be assigned to departments within the business to meet customer and company demands + All other duties as assigned **What you will have:** + Willingness to learn and operate power equipment + Ability to work well with others + Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English + Willingness to work a set schedule including overtime when needed + Reliable transportation to and from work **What would make you a top candidate:** + Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly operations, or warehouse experience + Demonstrated history of reliability and commitment, such as consistent participation and contributions to projects and goals + Experience with Microsoft Applications **Physical Requirements:** + Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods + Ability to perform repetitive operations + Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. _We are committed to ensuring a supportive and accommodating work environment for all employees.
