Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking an Assembly Technician to join their team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be part of a dynamic production team supporting the assembly of driveshafts for various vehicles. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Assembly Technician

Location: Gordonsville, TN

Pay Range: $16.50-$17.05

Shift: 1st, 2nd, 3rd

What's the Job?

Perform all phases of work involved in the assembly of driveshafts, including machining, assembly, and painting. Review work schedules and check equipment and supplies needed for the scheduled work. Learn and adhere to all job steps and procedures to ensure quality and safety. Participate in continuous improvement activities and work in a team environment. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while reporting any safety hazards or quality issues.

What's Needed?

Ability to perform basic mathematical functions for process control measurements. Strong reading comprehension skills to understand work instructions and safety procedures. Capability to interpret metric measurements using various measuring tools. Willingness to learn and use the necessary tools and equipment for the job. Must be able to meet physical requirements, including lifting and carrying items up to 50 lbs.
