Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking an entry-level electro-mechanical assembler to assist in building large transformers. This role involves wiring, installing circuit breakers, contactors, sheet metal, and circuit boards. Candidates should be familiar with wiring larger cables, specifically 2 AWG (American Wire Gauge), and capable of lifting approximately 25 pounds, with assistance from provided harnesses.

ResponsibilitiesFollow work assignments, directions, instructions, and Work Order Schedule provided by the Production Lead.Familiarize with wire gauges (AWG), terminals, pins, lugs, and connectors typically used for wire harness fabrication.Review Assembly Instructions, Engineering Drawings, or Notes on the BOM (Bill of Materials).Use hand crimpers to create discrete wires and harnesses.Assemble electronics subassemblies to install harnesses.Maintain a safe and organized work area, room, or station.Ensure efficiency requirements and quality standards are met regularly.Adhere to all safety requirements and policies.Determine job order requirements following Production priorities.Essential SkillsExperience with basic hand tools.Knowledge of assembly techniques.Mechanical aptitude.Additional Skills & QualificationsBasic production experience or an eager go-getter attitude.Willingness to be trained.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
