**Transformer Assembler** Columbus, OH Pay: $19.00 per hour Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Overtime available) **About the Role** Join a company that values your skills and hard work. We are looking for a **dedicated Transformer Assembler** to help build high-quality transformer units that power our communities. This hands-on role works closely with engineering and plant management, offering opportunities to grow and make an impact. **What You’ll Do** + Cut and prepare steel to exact measurements (+/- .002). + Assemble transformers and stack laminated steel cores. + Insert coils and complete assembly to specifications. + Safely operate equipment: transformer test tools, ratchet gun, strip cutting machines, air tools, band saw, belt sander, hoist, and shears. + Follow all safety and company policies. + Support the team with additional duties as needed. + Work overtime when required (great opportunity to boost earnings!). **What We’re Looking For** + High school diploma or equivalent. + **4+ years of experience** in a similar assembly or mechanical role. + Strong mechanical ability and attention to detail. + Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods. + Ability to read and interpret instructions, blueprints, and measurement tools (rules, calipers, micrometers). + Team-oriented with good communication skills. + Safety-conscious and eager to learn. **Why You’ll Love Working Here** **Competitive pay at** **$19/hr.** **with overtime available.** **Steady** **day shift schedule** **(no rotating shifts or overnight hours).** **Opportunity to learn and grow in a specialized industry.** **Supportive, team-driven work environment where safety comes first.** **Pay Details:** $19.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
