**Job Title: Assembler**
**Job Description**
As an assembler, you will be responsible for handling fiber cable by measuring, cutting, and placing it in a clip according to a blueprint or work instruction. You will feed color-coded wires through a connector with precise accuracy. After adding a drop of epoxy, the assembly is placed into a curing device for drying and goes through a final polishing stage before being tested for proper connections. This role requires the use of small hand tools, microscopes, or projection scopes to complete the assemblies.
**Pay: $20-25**
**Responsibilities**
+ Measure, cut, and place fiber cables according to blueprints.
+ Feed color-coded wires through connectors with precision.
+ Add epoxy and pull wires through to complete the coding.
+ Place assembly into curing device and perform final polishing.
+ Test assemblies to ensure all connections are working properly.
+ Utilize small hand tools, microscopes, or projection scopes.
**Essential Skills**
+ 1+ year of manufacturing experience, particularly in small parts or medical device assembly.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Ability to see color for accurate wire placement.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in catheter stringing or guidewire assemblies is highly similar and beneficial.

**Work Environment**
Work in a newly renovated facility that is expanding rapidly. The clean room environment does not require special dress code, allowing for business casual attire. A smock is required over clothing, and optional safety gear like gloves and safety glasses are provided. Expect rapid growth and opportunities for quick advancement.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hudson, Wisconsin.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
