**Job Title: Assembler** **Job Description** We are seeking a Sheet Metal Assembler who can efficiently and accurately assemble components and materials according to plans and specifications. The successful candidate will possess experience in carpentry or roofing, material handling, mechanical assembly, and will maintain a safe work environment through organization and housekeeping. Responsibilities include working with metal cladding, insulation, and steel components. **Responsibilities** + Assemble structural metal building panels in a manufacturing setting. + Operate hand and power tools effectively. + Accurately use measuring devices such as squares and tape measures. + Participate in safe material handling and suspended load movements. + Follow instructions and execute assigned duties. + Complete tasks within set timeframes to ensure goals are met. + Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times. + Perform all other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Experience in sheet metal fabrication, installation, and assembly. + Proficiency in using tape measures to 1/16th inch. + Ability to select and operate the proper tool for tasks. + Skillful operation of non-specialized shop equipment. + High school diploma, general education degree, or vocational degree. + 2+ years of experience with general trade skills for siding/roofing/metalworking or assembly. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to read blueprints is highly desirable. + Knowledge of small part/electrical assembly preferred. + Positive attitude is essential; negative individuals are not tolerated. + Must have full range of mobility in upper and lower body, including reaching overhead, stooping, standing, bending, sitting, kneeling, and squatting. + Able to lift, pull, and push materials and equipment weighing up to 70 pounds. **Why Work Here** Join a company that is expanding and offers a very competitive pay scale. You will be exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes, and odors. The role requires regular mobility, including the ability to reach overhead and work in various positions. Overtime is based on performance, with hours from Friday 6 AM to 2:30 PM. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Everett, Washington. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
