What We Offer: Health benefits What We’re Looking For: Experience reading and following assembly instructions Ability to align, assemble, and inspect components using hand tools or machines Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control Ability to document work and maintain clean workspaces Familiarity with fiberglass application processes and repair techniques What You’ll Do as a Fiberglass Technician: Create fiberglass-reinforced parts, including polishing, cleaning, and applying release products to molds Properly apply gel coat, fiberglass reinforcement (chopper gun and/or hand lay-up), and structural materials Perform fiberglass, gel coat, wood structure, painting, carpeting, and finishing repairs Identify required repair processes and estimate repair time Apply releasing agents and layers of resin and fiberglass mats to molds until desired thickness is achieved Ensure manufacturing tools, dies, templates, and cutout patterns meet specifications Assemble parts and subassemblies using templates, hoists, or manual alignment Conduct quality checks and maintain detailed production records
