This Position reports to:
Production Supervisor
In this role, you will be responsible for safety, quality and production in a plastic injection molding environment.
The work model for the role is onsite.
This role is contributing to the ABB ELIP Manufacturing facility in Portland, TN..
You will be mainly accountable for:Visual quality inspections of the productPlacing product in box with appropriate count in each boxLabel product and boxesTape boxesLift and carry boxes up to 40 lbs.Monitor equipment operationAssist in training new employeesMaintain work area in clean and orderly fashion - 5SFollow standard work instructionsParticipate in Lead Manufacturing efforts and Kaizan eventsCover other positions following appropriate training, as needed
Qualifications for the roleHigh School Diploma/GEDMinimum of one month or less of similar or related work experienceAbility to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions, write identifying information, request parts or supplies verbally or in writing.
