These markets include aerospace and defense, factory automation, air and water quality environmental monitoring, electronics design and development, oceanographic research, deepwater oil and gas exploration and production, medical imaging and pharmaceutical research.​ We are looking for individuals who thrive on making an impact and want the excitement of being on a team that wins. **Job Description** Assembler: Performs a wide variety of electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical or measurement product assembly operations on product components, assemblies or sub-assemblies. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, cable harnessing, welding and fitting on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications. **Job Responsibilities** Under general supervision, works with at least 2 repetitive electronic assembly operations on components or sub-assemblies and consistently performs requirements. Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity and familiarity with industrial tools, equipment, hand tools, and microscopes. The essential functions and key responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to: + Must be able to read and follow build instructions, including understanding of process documents, Bill of Materials and assembly drawings and complete paperwork as required. + Basic computer skills are a necessity. + Must be able to work overtime if required, on short notice. + Willing to train candidates that demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills and accept new job assignments as required. **Job Requirements** + Must possess an excellent attendance and work record. + Must have demonstrated leadership ability, good organizational and communication skills. + Must be able to work closely with others in a team environment. + Strong ability to problem-solve + Must have good interpersonal and communication skills to interact in a team environment. + HS Diploma Teledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
