The following duties and responsibilities are to be performed accurately, efficiently, within company safety standards, within specified time frames and as needed._ **COMPETENCIES:** + Ability to perform job-related tasks/duties, according to job standards. + Ability to operate all necessary equipment and/or machinery to perform job-related task(s). + Ability to properly setup all necessary equipment and/or machinery to perform job-related task(s). + Ability to understand safety guidelines that relate to job responsibilities. + Ability to correctly interpret operational method sheet. + Ability to perform quality inspections/Total Quality Check. + Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of material flow tools. + Ability to understand visual standards and nonconforming material system. + Ability to properly use material handling equipment. + Ability to perform job tasks within required timeframe. + Ability to properly identify WPO areas that relate to job responsibilities. + Ability to perform job tasks according to Allegion quality system/ISO 9001 standards. **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:** **Physical:** + Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequent, and/or 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. + Ability to occasionally lift up to 40lbs, frequently lifting up to 30 lbs. + Ability sit and/or stand for a minimum of 8 hours. + Ability to bend, twist, kneel, stoop, or crouch. + Ability to reach above shoulder height. + Ability to use close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjust focus. + Ability to perform repetitive work. + Ability to handle, or feel, touch, finger parts. + Ability to speak and hear oral direction. **Mechanical** : + Ability to use mechanical or powered lift. + Ability to use two hand palm buttons. + Ability to use pneumatic tools. + Ability to setup assembly dies. + Ability to use testing equipment. **Environmental:** + Exposure to various chemicals including greases, oils, adhesives, solder and welding fume, in safe exposure amounts, and approved for use in our facility by EH&S. + Exposure to moderate noise levels with intermittent loud noises. + Exposure to sharp objects and parts. + Exposure to moving mechanical parts, protected by approved guarding and controls. **EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:** _Below are the minimum requirements for this position._ + High School Diploma or GED required. + 3 months manufacturing experience required. + Six months assembly experience preferred.
