This is a 3rd Shift position. **Job Responsibilities** **Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities** : + Load and unload valves into assembly fixtures. + Transport valves to work stations. + Retrieve information from computer on assembly instructions. + Operate a label stamping machine. + Use assembly drawings to build required parts according to orders. + Maintain minimum production levels. + Maintain a clean and safe work area. + Notify supervisor of shortages of assembly supplies. + Comprehend and execute instructions from engineering blueprints, routings, work instructions, and Engineering Test Orders. + Use assembly/torque tools. + May analyze defective valves and repair to conforming specifications. + Retrieve replacement parts from stockroom. + Complete accompanying paperwork for assembly operations. + Install and remove bubble test fittings. + Load and unload testing devices. + Wear protective equipment. + Accurately communicate information to co-workers and supervision. **Background & Skills** **Job Qualification Requirements** : + High School education or GED equivalency + Must have basic math skills + Must be able to work standing for extended periods + Must be able to lift 50 lbs. repetitively + Must have good motor skills + Must be able to read and write legibly + Must be able to work while wearing safety equipment **Work Environment:** While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and risk of electrical shock.
