ASPD IT Support Specialist Team Member
Suvi is looking for an ASPD IT Support Specialist Team Member to work in Fort Belvoir, VA. Responsibilities System Analysis: work with stakeholders and system owners and perform systems analysis to determine hardware/software needs/requirements. System Design: perform system design activities, designing, developing, documenting, analyzing, creating, testing or modifying computer systems programs or operating systems. System Implementation: Implement and integrate new or enhance systems application or programs. Operate and maintain a classified network infrastructure that enables secure compartmented communications, including web-based collaboration, enterprise services (e.g., email, VoIP, and VTC) over a transport environment between disparate compartmentalized SAPs/SAs. Manage and perform high-level support for a standalone network, ensuring cybersecurity compliance and operational readiness for all site personnel. Coordinate and prioritize IT service requests through the JSP ticket management system, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to performance standards. Plan and execute system upgrades, maintenance schedules, and security enhancements while minimizing operational disruptions. Ensure compliance with security and privacy requirements for all networks, systems, and communications platforms. Develop and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and user guidelines for IT systems and services. Work with senior leadership to align technology infrastructure with mission objectives and organizational goals. Oversee inventory management of IT assets, ensuring accurate records and lifecycle planning for equipment. Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies, tools, and solutions to improve network performance, security, and user productivity. Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues and ensure resolution strategies are implemented. Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement risk mitigation strategies, vulnerability remediation, and security best practices. Qualifications BA/BS or equivalent and minimum of 5 years of applicable experience Proven experience as IT Technician or relevant position   In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks   Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles  Thorough knowledge of computer software and hardware and a variety of internet applications, networks and operating systems.  Ability to research and learn from vendor and developer documentation and apply concepts to other efforts   Able to communicate clearly and professionally with senior customers to field and troubleshooting questions and issues   Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required. Possesses at a minimum an approved DOD 8570 AIT level II certification   One or more DoD 8570 IAT Level II certifications (CCNA, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP, CND) Desired Qualifications:  Applicable Microsoft certifications (e.g., Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate or Microsoft 365 Endpoint Administrator Associate or equivalent) or equivalent IT certification. Great troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail.  Knowledge of DA policy and planning efforts, IT enterprise goals and objectives, and other required functions.  Knowledge of SAP Operations.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Previous experience working on physical and logical network design for network infrastructure installation or deployment projects.  Experience with network monitoring tools.   Experience gathering technical and business customer requirements.   Ability to work independently.   Able to communicate clearly and professionally with employees to field and troubleshooting questions and issues.   Outstanding knowledge of software maintenance.  Familiarity with VTC equipment.
