**Job Description:**
This job is responsible for managing risk and developing trading activities with limited direction from senior staff. Key responsibilities include proactively maintaining and building client relationships, supporting clients with buying and selling financial products, and developing and implementing trading strategies to achieve revenue goals. Job expectations include having in-depth knowledge of risk management, hedging, and trading strategies as well as market characteristics.
An opportunity to join an industry leading CRE trading desk at a Tier 1 investment bank. This junior/mid-level role would work alongside the senior loan/credit trader to analyze and price credit opportunities across a variety of mortgage products, including CRE whole loans and CMBS conduit/SASB securities. The role places a large emphasize on identifying, underwriting, and pricing the risks of CRE credit. We would anticipate this candidate to be a key contributor as the desk looks to grow an already strong footprint in the CRE whole loan and credit business. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in commercial real estate, investment banking or related fields.
**Role Responsibilities**
+ Analysis of commercial real estate properties and the markets they are located
+ Underwrite and price CRE loans and CMBS bonds, including both performing and non-performing loans
+ Help facilitate and manage the closing process for both the buying and selling of CRE loan portfolios
+ Assist in preparing sales presentations for existing and potential clients
**Skills**
+ Bachelor’s degree
+ 3-6 years of experience in commercial real estate, investment banking or related field is preferred
+ Be comfortable in a fast paced, high-volume trading and structuring role
+ Be highly motivated, eager to learn and extremely detail oriented
+ Have a strong analytical and quantitative skillset
+ Be a team player
