Job Title: Indirect Commodity Manager

Reports To: Indirect Procurement Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Indirect Commodity Manager to join our procurement team. The Indirect Commodity Manager will be responsible for managing the procurement of various indirect spend categories including professional & business services, HR, IT, MRO, etc. to ensure cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills, a deep understanding of supply chain management, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers. As a key team member of the Asia Pacific Strategic Procurement team, this role will be at the forefront of driving and executing Danaher corporate procurement strategies and playing a pivotal role in our strategic initiatives to enhance data-driven decision-making across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sourcing strategies for indirect commodities, including but not limited to business services, including HR, Finance, Legal, IT, MRO, etc.  Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on procurement strategies and objectives; identify cost-saving opportunities and drive initiatives to reduce total cost of ownership; analyze spend data and develop strategies to optimize procurement spend; provide guidance and support to internal teams on procurement best practices and processes.Lead the integration of business services suppliers; leverage supplier resources across the AP region; lead business services projects for Danaher Asia-Pacific Operational companies to drive practice improvement and/or cost savings;Assess and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain, including supply disruptions, price volatility, and regulatory compliance; develop contingency plans to ensure continuity of supply.Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in relevant areas such as supply chain, business management, operations, or finance; MBA or other relevant degree/certification highly desirableMinimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience with global companies (e.g., sourcing, buying, or procurement)Proven track record of successful supplier negotiations and contract management.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.  Proven experience managing decentralized procurement function with global team exposure preferred.Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
