Aseptic Technician
Job Title: Aseptic TechnicianJob Description We are seeking a skilled Aseptic Technician with a strong background in cleanroom environments to join our dynamic team. This role requires a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety in pharmaceutical manufacturing. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful production of pharmaceutical products in a start-up environment. Responsibilities + Manufacture batches on pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment per written batch record procedures, including product sampling and evaluation of in-process data. + Assist in the maintenance of manufacturing equipment, including assembling and disassembling mechanical equipment for cleaning. + Perform sampling techniques and wet chemistry analysis, including pH and viscosity measurements. + Operate production equipment such as tablet presses and liquid gel capsule filling machinery. + Perform routine monitoring and preventive maintenance of equipment. + Interpret, evaluate, communicate, and document the results of repair work. + Maintain routine inventory of manufacturing supplies. + Record and maintain accountability of APIs, excipients, and components throughout the manufacturing process, including returns and waste disposal. + Complete documentation quickly and efficiently, adhering to good documentation practices, cGMPs, and SOPs. + Weigh ingredients for product manufacturing, including activities like sieving, subdivision, and formulation. + Comply with standard operating procedures, batch records, and safety guidelines. + Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and maintain it in good condition. + Comply with all safety and environmental guidelines and report any safety events. + Perform other related tasks as required. Essential Skills + 2+ years of cleanroom aseptic experience. + 1+ years of pharmaceutical experience. + Ability to collect data and run experiments. + Ability to follow SOPs and document work. + Experience in batch record review and documentation. + Experience with cGMP practices. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Degree in a relevant field is a plus. + Experience with wet chemistry techniques is advantageous. + Experience in manufacturing or pharmaceutical environments. + Strong understanding of machine operation and maintenance. Work Environment This position is part of a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on developing enhanced formulations of existing drug products. You will work in a state-of-the-art facility that employs cutting-edge technologies such as nano-emulsions, amorphous solid dispersions, and nano-particle production. The role is based on a first shift from 8am-5pm, and you'll be part of a small team, working closely with two other manufacturing technicians. The position requires being on your feet most of the day and the ability to work on multiple projects. As this is a start-up company, flexibility and a commitment to the organization's vision are essential. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
