Job Description
This role involves managing a variety of tasks, including environmental investigations and assessments, regulatory compliance, asbestos and lead paint inspections, and remediation oversight. You will conduct field monitoring of abatement projects in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, perform XRF testing and data recording, and provide technical support and report writing.
ResponsibilitiesConduct environmental investigations and assessments.Ensure regulatory compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.Perform asbestos and lead paint inspections and oversee remediation projects.Monitor abatement projects in the field.Conduct XRF testing and record data accurately.Provide technical support and write comprehensive reports.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in Environmental Science.5+ years of experience in Environmental Science.NYSDOL Asbestos Inspector Certification.Asbestos Project Monitor Certification.Air Monitoring Experience.Air Sampling Technician Certification.OSHA 40 Certification.Hazwoper Certification.Additional Skills & QualificationsProficiency in environmental remediation and report writing.Experience with technical support.OSHA 30 Certification.Work Environment
The position involves working on projects throughout the five boroughs, requiring travel from site to site. You will be part of a team of 5-7 professionals, performing a variety of environmental tasks including air monitoring, regulatory compliance, and remediation oversight. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
