What You’ll Do:
Develop, execute, and document validation and qualification protocols and reports (CSV / 21 CFR part 11) for physical measurement methods and equipment (e.g., OGP, Optical Shaft/surface Measuring system).Plan, conduct, and analyze Measurement System Analysis (MSA) studies (e.g., Gage R&R, bias, linearity, stability) to ensure the reliability and accuracy of measurement systems.Thoroughly interpret complex engineering drawings, including understanding and applying GD&T principles to determine acceptable tolerance ranges for critical medical device features.Perform precise dimensional measurements on medical device components and assemblies using various physical measurement equipment, with a strong emphasis on measurement tools, adhering to strict quality and regulatory standards.Apply statistical analysis techniques to measurement data to assess process capability, identify trends, and support quality improvement initiatives.Participate in root cause analysis investigations for dimensional non-conformances, applying statistical tools and MSA results to identify and implement effective corrective and preventive actions in accordance with CAPA procedures.Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, tests, validations, qualifications, MSAs, and calibrations in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).Ensure all testing activities adhere to established quality standards, validated procedures, and regulatory requirements.Assist in the training of other personnel on physical measurement techniques, GD&T principles, MSA methodologies, and relevant regulatory requirements.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance measurement accuracy, efficiency, and compliance within the medical device quality system.
