The Role:

To assist Artisans in effective maintenance and breakdowns.

This service is rendered to Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology clients.

Key Performance Areas:

Assist artisan with any service/breakdown related activityVisual inspection of machinesClean workshop, machine, tools and equipmentFollow workshop mapCheck wrapping & hosesRelay messages between operationsProvide feedback to artisan on machine conditionComply with SMRT SHEQ management system and the Objectives and Targets set.Utilise correct toolsReport Hazardous conditions and acts.Participate in Incident / accident investigations.Technical readingsWork on scheduled and unplanned maintenance and breakdowns

Your Profile:

Grade 12 / N3 Technical Qualification/ Equivalent QualificationComputer literacy ability to work with Excel spreadsheets, graphical presentations and chartsEnglish proficiencyFirst Aid Level 1 (Advantageous)Experience in manufacturing workshopRelevant mechanised mining equipment experiencePhysical & Medical ability to function in a workshop / underground environmentUnderstanding of the necessity and value of teamwork; ability to work effectively as part of a team
