Partnership Resources, Inc., a non-profit disability services provider in the Twin Cities/West Metro area, is seeking an Art Instructor to support individuals with disabilities in exploring the studio arts! We believe that art is for all abilities and have a long-standing tradition of incorporating a broad range of creative arts into our programming. The Art Instructor will teach Arts Education activities for adults who have developmental and intellectual disabilities in a day program setting. This is an opportunity to use your knowledge and passion to promote skill development, build community, and empower self-advocacy through creative expression. This position is part-time, non-exempt, working three 8-hour shifts per week during Monday-Friday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (24 hours per week). Location is in St. Louis Park. This is not a seasonal position. Details: \- Develops, plans and implements arts curriculum in conjunction with the Arts Coordinator at our Minneapolis site \- Adapts curriculum, teaching methods, and instructional materials to client needs, interests and skill levels to promote development and engagement \- Teaches a wide variety of arts media and topics in a classroom setting \- Collaborates with community partners on arts activities outside of the classroom setting \- Collect and document data according to MN Dept. of Human Services licensing regulations, grant requirements, and PRI standards (training provided in this area) Our vision is that every person with disabilities thrives in an inclusive community.
