Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Technical Sales Manager to join our team in Bristol, United Kingdom. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and providing technical expertise to customers in the assigned territory.

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targetsIdentify new business opportunities and expand the customer base within the assigned areaConduct technical product demonstrations and presentations to potential clientsProvide expert technical advice and support to customers, addressing their specific needsCollaborate with the engineering and product development teams to gather customer feedback and contribute to product improvementsManage and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retentionAnalyze market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategiesPrepare and deliver accurate sales forecasts, reports, and presentations to managementAttend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent the company and generate leadsStay up-to-date with industry developments and maintain in-depth product knowledge

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (preferred)Proven track record of success in technical sales, with experience managing a sales territoryStrong technical aptitude and ability to quickly grasp complex product specificationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levelsProficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software and sales toolsOutstanding presentation and negotiation skillsDemonstrated problem-solving abilities and analytical thinkingExcellent time management and organizational skillsIndustry-specific knowledge and understanding of technical product applicationsSales certifications (e.g., Certified Sales Professional) are a plusValid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Bristol area and surrounding regions
