About the Role As an Area Supervisor, this position is responsible for managing/directing the daily activities of Field Technicians relating to providing service to TVMs, TOMS and Validators in New Jersey specifically New York City and Jersey City. The incumbent is a qualified, individual producer who applies a strong knowledge of maintenance/diagnostic concepts, practices and procedures, generally works under deadlines and is capable of handling heavy workloads and operating with only general supervision. Responsibilities + Provides direct support to Technicians for error/problem resolution. + Provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance. + Provides technical onsite maintenance and support for new and existing systems. + Works on issues where analysis of situation or data requires review of relevant factors and exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action. + Provides feedback/performance reviews on a periodic basis. + Performs administrative duties including workforce scheduling, time reporting + Other duties as assigned. Requirements + Formal training in electronics or equivalent electronics work experience. + 3-5 years of related technical support experience. + Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook. + Past experience in a leadership position of managing and directing subordinates. + Strong customer interface and interpersonal communication skills experience.
