Area Manager - Heated Tobacco Product
**DESCRIPTION** Area Manager will execute the commercial plan in launching smoke-free products in the assigned geographic area, Austin, TX, ensuring product performance by delivering best-in-class consumer experience through a team of IQOS Experts/Coaches looking to convert legal age smokers and nicotine users to smoke-free products (including heat-not-burn) that while are not risk-free, are a much better choice than continuing to smoke. The Manager will plan and coordinate face-to-face activities for legal age smokers and nicotine users based on geo specifics, in line with brand engagement strategy and business priorities. As a Manager you will manage a team of Coaches responsible for creating awareness and understanding of the smoke-free alternatives amongst their legal age smokers and nicotine users’ network by activating through programs designed to convert legal age smokers and nicotine users to smoke-free alternatives. You will be primarily in the field working with the team coaching, motivating, supporting, auditing, and providing assistance with prospecting. You will develop & implement sales strategies that drive sales and KPI achievement. You will provide guidance and set expectations around daily schedules and sales behaviors for the team to ensure they are working at the highest standard. Additionally, the Manager will also ensure compliance with business KPIs through effective management of resources and will act as a liaison with the regional team ensuring that market knowledge and feedback is collected, reported and shared. **RESPONSIBILITIES** **What You’ll Do:** + Partner closely with agency recruitment team to hire Coaches team: sourcing, interviewing and hiring candidates meeting the required skills and competencies + Provide one-one-one coaching and timely, accurate feedback to team members through training and other touch points helping team reach individual and team objectives & KPIs + Foster strong relationships with team to strive for and establish a cohesive ‘One Team. One Goal’ working environment + Be an expert of your territory to identify, develop and implement sales/acquisition strategies and evaluate the needs of your territory and adapt as necessary + Deep understanding of key trends with legal age smokers and nicotine users and adjust execution plan according to these trends as well as educating team on these changes + Foster & develop the Coach team in the field via ride alongs & 1:1 in-field work withs + Motivate & inspire the Coach team to hit/exceed monthly goals/KPIs + Work closely with clients in market to drive new initiatives and identify new opportunities **QUALIFICATIONS** **Sales Expertise** + Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals. + Strong background in lead generation, conversion, and prospecting. + Experience in cold calling and door-to-door sales. + Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies. **Leadership and Team Management** + Experience managing and motivating sales teams of 10 people or more + Proven ability to set and achieve team goals. + Strong coaching and mentoring skills. + Ability to foster a high-performance sales culture. **Communication and Interpersonal Skills** + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members. + Strong negotiation and closing skills. + Ability to handle objections and rejections professionally. **Analytical and Strategic Thinking** + Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions. + Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically. + Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools. + Ability to develop and execute sales plans based on data-driven insights. **Resilience and Adaptability** + Fearless and persistent in pursuing sales opportunities. + Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and client needs. + Strong work ethic and self-motivation. + Ability to handle high-pressure situations and meet tight deadlines. **Customer Focus** + Strong understanding of customer needs and ability to provide tailored solutions. + Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. + Ability to gather and act on customer feedback to improve sales processes. **In addition:** + Ability to be flexible and adapt quickly to changing market plans/approach + Licensed driver with a good driving record + Designing & implementing sales strategies + Quick learner with experience handling a complex product portfolio and technical know how/troubleshooting + Strong project management skills + Experience working in B2C environments collecting and reporting consumer feedback including but not limited to escalations and responding in a timely manner with accurate information + Networking/community integration experience **Strongly Preferred:** + Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred + Putting consumer knowledge, insights & analytics into action + Strong presentation skills + Experience in working with culturally and demographically diverse teams + Strong project management skills + Strong sales team management skills **ABOUT US** Mosaic is a part of Acosta Group – a collective of the industry’s most trusted retail, marketing and foodservice agencies reimagining the way people connect with brands at every point in their shopping journey.
